Prime Season and Off-season

Winter is finally here and while for some hosts this is the start of a busy season ahead, but maybe other short term rental hosts are experiencing the off-season blues.

For many, as the weather starts to get cold, short term rental hosts experience a slow down in bookings. For others, it’s the beginning of a busy season.

What is the difference between prime season and off-season?

Prime season, varies depending on area but typically is the season where you will see the highest occupancy rates and revenue from your short term rental

Prime season in our areas of service:

Ottawa and cottages: May to October

Mont Tremblant: December to April

In Ottawa, the majority of our daily short term rental customers are tourists visiting our beautiful city. As such, as it starts to get warmer, tourism picks up!

In Mont Tremblat, as soon as the snow starts to fly and the hill opens, were busy with bookings

Knowing your short term rental seasons is important. During off-season pricing will be lower and its a great time to start doing preventative maintenance on your properties. In prime season, its all hands on deck. Ensure your property is ready to shine!

Need help managing your short term rental in Ottawa, Gatineau or Mont Tremblant- we can help!
